Cut the leaves from the plant,it contain a very slimy substances ( bitter in taste). To avoid this slimy liquid keep the leaves suspended in bowl or glass for 10-15 minutes. After that peel off the the leaves and scoop out the inner most layer of gel for consumption.

Avoid the  outer layer of the leaves,as it could taste bitter and sometimes toxic also.Aloe Vera juice is also available in the market.Mix Aloe Vera and juice of Gooseberry for better result.

Pregnant women and children below the age of 12 should not consume Aloe.It can increase the activity of laxative drugs also so avoid it with any laxative medicines.
